Muscle Volumizing Matrix
Nitric Oxide (NO2) is a free form gas produced in the body (and regulated by various enzymes that either promote or destroy NO2) that is known in scientific circles as a “cell signaling molecule.” In brief, NO2 modulates (supports or actuates) pretty much every anabolic and growth-related compound, hormone or hormone-like substance in your body. So what a surprise that we would make gains through optimizing both production and the length of time NO2 hangs around!

Carnosine Di-ethyl Ester and Anserine Ethyl Ester
Carnosine is a combination of two amino acids…histidine and beta-alanine. Anserine is, in short, super carnosine. Research is slowly pouring in from scientists all over the world, naming carnosine as an ergogenic aid that may even eclipse the power of creatine! Carnosine concentrations are highest in Type II muscle fibers, which of course are the one’s most important to bodybuilders and power/performance athletes alike.
When we train at very high levels of intensity, we need to match our energy output with equal amounts of energy production, or fatigue and weakness will quickly occur thus making us act like sissies. This is because high intensity activities increases H+ (hydrogen ion) production, which results in a reduction in intramuscular PH, leading to decreased performance and early on-set fatigue. Carnosine has the ability to “pick up” H+ and greatly delay the decrease in PH (up to 20-30% in Type II fibers), allowing us to work harder and longer in the gym or on the field and courts! Norhordenine
This is actually a naturally occurring substance that is found in many grains and plants. It is chemically related to an amino acid called tyramine. Norhordenine has been noted as a fat loss compound but does so via stimulating norepinephrine release. This makes norhordenine a central nervous system stimulant. Whenever the CNS is stimulated neuron-net response is as well. Better focus, more strength and energy are all common side affects of CNS stimulation.
Vinpocetine
Vincamine is a compound present in the leaves of the periwinkle plant. And to our good fortune it is a precursor to vinpocetine which is an amazing compound that has many positive affects upon the brain and body….and yes, vincamine does convert to vinpocetine in the body. Some studies support the belief that these compounds increase blood flow to the brain, act as a powerful anti-oxidant and support or enhance glucose delivery to the brain. Of course these affects are a major plus for an athlete in need of primal focus, but add in that vinpocetine also enhances norepinephine release thus CNS stimulation and I am certain you will understand the synergy here.
Vinburnine
Another naturally occurring compound found in the herb Hunteria Eburnea.This is an interesting compound that appears to enhance tissue up-take of oxygen while supporting memory and focus. We certainly believe so.
